The museum is a must The entry looks like one millón of Paco rábbane perfume There is a temporary Expo of peru The original Expo is lovely They put shadows that resémbles human bodies Staff is very friéndly I loved the poporo quimbaya San Agustín stones Dont miss the Chamán place . Free admission on sundays, definately worth a visit whlie in Bogota. Treasures from all over Colombia on display on multiple floors.

We tried to visit the Gold Museum just before Christmas and were disappointed to see that visitors were restricted to 10% of normal levels and you had to pre-book to get in. Some people had turned up at 9am to try their luck at getting in and a handful were able to get in after waiting 3 hours. Imagine our surprise when we left Bogota airport on 10 Jan 2021 and visited the El Dorado business class lounge. These amazing Gold Museum artifacts were displayed there instead... see photo!…
