A well kept park which was fairly busy during the day. But tall trees means it’s dark unless you go towards to top. Terraced Park. Definitely wouldn’t want to go through it at night or after dark. Lots of graffiti. Preferred the Parque Nationale which is about 1km away.

The park turned on it’s Christmas lights and it was super nice. They also had a free dance show at the park that was really good! We got there just in time and watched the whole thing. They pulled a large crowd. Lots of fun!

This is a small park at different levels near the Colpatria skyscraper built in 1910 to commemorate 100 years of independence. Very tall eucalyptus trees, palms and some grassy spaces. Well maintained (better than the parque nacional) with paved trails for pedestrians only.

There is a small neoclassical style pavilion housing a municipal Tourist Information office (more quiet than the main one on Bolivar square).

Avoid after dark: don't be tempted to walk through the park shortcutting the main road to barrio Perseverancia.

If you pass by, it is worth it to take a detour and enjoy the majestic trees and flowers planted here and there. Most of the park was clean when I visited, but some areas had traces of past picknicks. It is a small, terraced park that provides limited screening of traffic noise and skyscrapers close by. It is not a destination park.

We came across this park by chance, but it led us on nicely to walk to the base of Mount Montserrat, just be careful to stick to the main road as there is a little pocket - a housing area at the foot on the mountain - which can be a little unsafe. There were policemen stationed in the park making it feel very safe.

The park in itself is quite interesting as it's set on a lot of different levels, but I wouldn't go out of your way to find it unless you're in the area

The place is full of homeless and street dogs, but is a nice green area that you can have in the centre of the city.

Beautiful park right in the City Center of Bogotá. Close to museum and other tourist attractions. It's well taken care of. I recommend getting to know and enjoy the nature of the park.
