This is a cute little plaza with a very beautiful church on it. If you are looking for a place to sit and relax, go behind the church. It's quieter and there is more shade there. Across the street on the south side are several good restaurants and the Pico Cafe place has great gelato.

The church is nice but the area around is very dirty. The are a few nice restaurants in the direction of Usaquen.

Chapinero is a transport and commercial hub of Bogota. Not really a tourist attraction but an important place for Bogotanos. The church is very pretty and the plaza, a very pleasant and authentic Bogota experience. A short walk to Séptima Avenue and The transmilenio, Plaza de Lourdes is a good place to visit to see day to day energetic life in this metropolis. Many interesting restaurants and coffee shops around.

Surrounded by a lot of small shops and restaurants, the real interest is inside Lourdes church, recognized as one of the must important in the country. But be aware while you walk with your phone or camera because there are a lot of thieves around.

The church has finally been renovated, and it is beautiful!
The plaza itself has some decent eats and a few good street vendors with jewelry, etc.
The area around the plaza is a great place to saunter and check out the real Bogota, not the bubble in the North. Near Christmas and Halloween, it is a great place to shop.
