Bogotá Bike Tour

2,009 reviews
Energetic Bogotá has grabbed global headlines as a bike-friendly city, but finding the best routes can be a challenge for first-time visitors. Grab a bike to explore the city with a guide to lead the way, pedaling through La Candelaria, Plaza de Toros, and neighborhoods with colorful street art. Break up the mostly-flat route with stops at a fresh fruit market and a coffee factory.

One of my favorirte places to walk around in Bogota. Now a days, most of the restaurants and shopes are out of business. The artisan market is no longer functioning. Hope soon we wil have a normal area here. The Church got a maintenance, looks pretty

Loved this area to walk around and see many new restaurants. On sundays there is more to do, and a street market. Look at my Usaquen photos for great options of restaurants to try out.

Usaquen is a neighborhood in the northern part of Bogota. It used to be a separate village. The restaurants around the park are very well reviewed. Go there on Sundays for the market: you will find all your artesanal gifts: leather (purses-bags-wallets etc), ponchos, scarfs, great coffee beans, visual art by local artists, etc. Don't miss the Santa Barbara mall: on the lower floor, you will find amazing jewellers that work silver like no other, at very reasonable prices (20 to 100 US dollars).

Way overrated, way too crowded, way too expensive. If what you want to see is snobby locals, it's a good place to go. But otherwise it's kind of a tourist trap
