Well worth the price and despite the snakes which scared us a bit a funday out. Definitely pay the 300F to climb up the lighthouse..its open from 130pm til 3. Persevere with the snorkeling as there are turtles to be seen and amazing coloured fish....More

On a cruise based in Sydney we visited Noumea and spent the morning out at Signal Island swimming with the turtles. great time had by all. Lots of snakes to but harmless.

We had a great half-day out with Dalocean Charter, Frederic and team. I can highly reccomend the new Turtle Tour that they now offer to Signal Island which is only 25-mins by boat from Noumea. Bring your own lunch and drinks and snorkel with turtles....More

There is a supermarket called Casino...just over the road from the cruise terminal..pop over there and grab some things. Or there is a café in the terminal where you can buy food and drink.
