As other reviews, arrived to Port Vila as part of a Christmas Cruise. Enjoyed going to the market and getting some local souvenirs. Good things to find but you need to shop around with the prices and bartering is worth a try. Found the locals...More

Great selection of fresh produce at great prices. It was great to be able to try 'traditional' food there cooked by local people. Their dining area is open for lunch & dinner & meals only cost around 460 vatu. You're paying at least 2500 at...More

These are lovely markets to walk through and see and smell the real Vanuatu. Clothes and trinkets to buy but the don’t hassle you or barter. If you want your daughters hair braided they offer that too.. we didn’t tho.

What hits you first is the colours of the fruits - then the smells - the happy faces. Very friendly people worth calling in

Great place to get a sense of local life. Lots of fresh & colourful local fruit & vege. The flower markets are spectacular. It’s a place where the locals come to sell their produce - not where tourists can buy trinkets. It may not be...More

The flower stall front right of the market is extremely photogenic. The stalls sell tasty ripe pineapple- sweet and juicy. Good idea to have some hand wipes or you’ll have sticky fingers for the rest of the day-not so easy to find somewhere to wash...More

The atmosphere of the Port Vila markets is a must to experience. I often visit to buy produce from the village ladies for a variety of reasons especially to support them financially as well as obtain some excellent vegetables.
