The world’s only underwater post office lets you buy a waterproof postcard on land, fill it out and dive into the ocean to mail it, and you don't even need diving experience.

Saw all manner of sealife within metres of shore. Novel idea to send an underwater postcard back to the kids!

Great concept, unfortunately the post office needs a bit of a clean, I'm sure a stiff brush and a bit of elbow grease would improve the look immensely. The reef and fish surrounding the post office though are amazing, well worth the swim out!

Posted the oblicatory postcard here - fun for the kids but the pistbox is covered in algae - could do with a spruce up since it is talked up quite a bit.

Great short swim to the post Office. It is a great place to visit for young and old. Water is clear and filled with fish. A must visit when visiting vanuatu.

This attraction is looking a little tired now but still great fun for the kids to do. It can take a bit of effort to get down to the post box to send the postcard but still they love it.

If you are a snorkeller, this is a little must-see off Hideaway Island. It's not flash, just a curiosity.

If you have time to do a round of the island there are lots of little beaches and coves with clear water and beautiful fish. Hideaway is lovely and a good choice as it is not too far to travel.
