Great place to see about half hour ride from port Villa into a rain forest that you wouldn't know was there we informed guides tell you a lot of info about the rain forest plants as you walk through the forest trails to the suspension bridges. then get a chance to have a swim in the river after the trek

We hired a driver in a van for the day & visited blue lagoon , turtle sanctuary then the waterfall at eden on the river . Nice spot , clear water . Should be a confident swimmer although inflatable tires available. When we went the rope walkways / bridges where not open due to cyclone damage .

Hi Kelly, I you came just after cyclone Cook on 08 or 09/ April, then the currents would certainly have been strong. Our bridges were closed for a day or two to undertake clean up and tensioning. We are now open as usual! Many thanks :) More

Great stopover organised by our driver. It had a lot of rain the week before so we were very lucky, although current strong it was awesome, cool, refreshing and the local guide even swam with us for added comfort. Just superb. A must do ! Looks like they are doing up one side and the other side is just being explored... More

We came here as the first stop on a round the island tour. The tour around the gardens was nice but lasted only 5 minutes. We just walked around with a guide who pointed out 2 trees & spent most of the time dodging dog poo & having our feet bitten by one of the dogs. The walk down to... More

We visited Eden on the River and did the Colours and Tastes of Eden Guided Walking Tour . For a very reasonable price , we got an informative stroll through the expansive tropical gardens , a fruit platter feast of jackfruit , custard apple , papaya , mango , melons etc... , and a wonderful swim in the river blue... We came here for lunch whilst on our way around the island and ordered four toasted sandwiches and coffee. The food was reasonably ok and one of our drinks never came out to us. I don't think i would return just for the food but the surrounding gardens and waterfalls are amazing. We didn't get a chance to do the... More

The highlight of our week in Vanuatu, for our two daughters. They loved the waterfall and especially the secret spot behind the curtain.

I recently visited the Eden River with my friend through a P&O cruise shore tour and it was remarkable. We spent a few hours swimming in the river just next to the waterfall and it was so refreshing - especially in the summer heat. You can jump of the waterfall, swim under the waterfall, swing out on a rope into... More

A great deal of time and care goes into the gardens and property maintenance of Eden on the River, and it's definitely a beautifully serene and peaceful place. We were lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves, which was a bonus. We had a driver for the day (staying at a resort just outside Port Vila) and wanted... More

Spent a few hours here swimming in the river. The water was divine! So refreshing on a hot, humid day. You can swing out on a rope into the water. The scenery is also beautiful. Highly recommend, the drive out here is worth it.
