Love them. Organised place. Great tour. Well worth it. I hired a taxi driver from Kinshasa to take me there. Disappointed by the behaviour of some other guests smoking , playing a radio, eating biscuits in front the baby bonobos . Do go to support the sanctuary.

This place is very well managed and with a big number of creatures. There is a bus which provides a ride inside the park. Interesting place

The trip was great. Especially the hike of 3 km through the jungle of the park. The organization that manages the park is very poor. The price of the ticket is determined by your skin color. $ 5 if you're black, $ 10 if you're white. The information disseminated on the website is also very poor and far from up... More

I loved my second visit to the Bonobo's and I was once again amazed with the organization of the place and the nice and motivated staff. One point to improve is the road access and the people begging money...

Anyone who comes through Kinshasa really should visit Lola ya Bonobo. Not only is it one of the handful of places in the world to see troops of Bonobos (only found here in DRC!), but it's a chance to get out of the city and find a little nature. The guides generally only speak French or only a little English,... More

Just to reach the sanctuary is already part of your education of/on Africa, why these animals need protection and why we need to contribute to it! I enjoyed watching them a lot, bonobos have grace and attitude, they are very human, playful, but can be really wild, too! I liked how they also observed us ;) It is a nice... More

We took a group of children from summer camp. Most of them had never been before even though they live in Kinshasa. They thoroughly enjoyed the field trip and the tour guide who explained many facts about the Bonobos
