We did the seven day Bagan to Mandalay and then back to Bagan cruise in April and it was pure luxury. The company doesn't have its own listing, probably because it's so lux, but I was looking for reviews when I was booking and couldn't find much. Now that my husband and I have completed the cruise I figured I'd... More

We enjoyed a 10-day cruise from Mandalay to Prome/Pyay (followed by a drive to Yangon). It is one of the most fascinating and unforgettable experiences we have had. The boat takes you to parts of Myanmar you otherwise wouldn't see. Of course the cruise includes amazing Bagan - but equally memorable are the pot-making and weaving villages, the off-the-beaten-track Buddhist... More

We have just returned from a fabulous cruise up the Irrawaddy River Yangon to Mandalay on the RV Samatha. I recommend this cruise. We saw so many wonderful places along the way. We had awesome weather the whole 15 days and our crew on board were absolutely the best. Excursions along the way showed us many amazing pagodas, markets and friendly... More

I took a river cruise in January 2017 with APT from Rangoon to Mandalay on the RV Samatha. This was very well organised, with comfortable and spacious cabins, helpful and friendly staff. The food was excellent and varied for every taste, or they'd create something for you if you have special diets. This was my second river cruise with APT and... More

My husband and I have just spent 10 days cruising the Irrawaddy River from Mandalay to Yangon. The trip was excellent with daily excursions to villages, markets, temples etc. The onboard guides accompanied us on all excursions and provided information on all places we visited. Staff on boat the boat were friendly and helpful and were always available to assist... More

We spent 5 nights on RV Pandau between Mandalay and Bagan. The planned itinerary had to be curtailed because of low water. In retrospect 3 nights would have been enough. The boat was comfortable and the cabin good. The food and service were very good. There was a surprising bargain on the wine list in the form of an Alsace... More

We enjoyed our 24 hours on Paukan. Boarding and disembarking was a bit of an adventure, given that the rise and fall of the river over a year, precludes permanent jetties. But it was like being transported back in time, to tramp across an expanse of river sand, then enter the boat via a rickety gangplank The boat is very... More

Cruiseco (booked through the RAC) made our 10 day cruise along the Ayeyawady River stress free. Our cruise boat was very clean, comfortable and well organized. The crew could not do enough for us. Food abundant and varied to suit European or Asian diets. All the tours on the mainland were very interesting and varied. Can't say enough about it.

My husband and I booked the two night cruise from Bagan to Mandalay on the RV Yandabo and we were looking forward to it, but could not have expected it to be as good as it was, and this was largely due to the wonderful, amazing crew of 13 men who are there to make sure that you enjoy every... Pandaw river cruises are just amazing and my trip to Myanmar was my third trip with them. The boat, the staff, the food are all fantastic and with organised trips everyday together with time to relax it makes for the perfect combination. This year I travelled to Myanmar (Burma) for a 14 day cruise which also included a day site... More
