Ok for a visit & has a relic. But a bit pricy for what there is , better just visit the Shwedagon . Unusual as you can go inside , however not as interesting as it sounds.

The Botahtaung Pagoda not only has gold exterior. Walk into the pagoda, pay respect to the hair relic, we have no chance to linger as there were many visitors behind us. Walk on follow the direction indicated, we see the wall is covered in "gold"...More

This place is a bit out of the city, but you can walk from Sule. This pagoda contains the Lord Buddha's hairs. It is one of the places that you should not miss.

We walked to this pagoda, well worthy, albeit warm. Since having visited so many pagodas in Myanmar, including Bagan. My opinion is a little bias at this point. But still go check it out! Gorgeous

This Pagoda has a ton of extras. There are numerous additional small shrines as well. Walking through the hollowed out Pagoda with AC was incredibly refreshing. If you can, getting a guide is well worth it.
