This is a great park by the lake, with splendid views across to the Karaweik Boat replica. It was very nice just having a chilled out afternoon under the trees reading a book, taking some time off while in Yangon City. Word of Warning; the Boardwalks around the lake look all nice and inviting but in reality they are in... More

An entrance fee ensures that it is not crowded with any noisy hooligan element, so you can relax in peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of the city. The gardens are actually quite attractive, and I felt quite well maintained. I also was surprised at the overall cleanliness of the area and lake. For horticulturalists from the West,... More

This is a very large park by Kandawgyi Lake. It is very pleasant and relaxing to stroll through the park when it is not too hot.

Place is not well maintained and there is an entrance fee. The lake as a lot of algae and the decks are pretty worked out and some are missing. Careful when you walk along the wooden decks. Not much people in the afternoon. Go unless you got to kill some time.

This is a place to visit at the end of the day after the bustle of Yangon centre. It is peaceful just to sit at the side of the lake and watch the world go by.

It's the green lung of the city. Not really worth the trouble to go only for the park, but a good place to sit and relax before or after you visit the shweddagon pagoda.

This is a beautiful park but needs a lot of maintenance done before accidents happen . We went for a morning walk and had to slow down because many of the wooden planks were in disrepair. Still a good place to visit just be careful not to fall. Yoga and TaiChi classes available

The park itself is really nice - or could be with a little more attention. A small fee to enter with a bigger fee for camera use - necessary if you want to photograph the Royal Barge. Worst thing was the really poor condition of the boardwalk. It was seriously dangerous to walk on in parts making the walk quite... More
