Market in colonial building, many things are selling here, from clothing to jewelleries. And you should know how to bargain. 😊😊

You can almost get all you need here, just make sure you bargain or you'll surely get fleeced. We found some things cheaper at the National Races Village in Yangon, but the array of goods sold at the market is good.

The sheer number of jewelry shops at the Bogyoke Market is mind boggling. Not knowing much about jewelry, I decided to check out My Hoya (on the 2nd floor of Narawat Building at the Market) based on the good reviews I read at Trip Advisor. It was as reported: the owner Ms. Mi Nge was patient to explain about the... More

This is a huge, bustling market selling all kinds of wares. We went there on our last day in Myanmar and had already done a fair amount of shopping while touring around the country. However, we had a great time simply strolling through the different sections of the market. There was plenty of handicrafts for sale, both in the main... More

This is the place I used to go whenever I need to buy for traditional clothing. There are a lot of traditional handicrafts. Don't simply buy at one shop. check the price with others. Don't forget to ask for discount.

Handicrafts from all parts and Myanmar, jade (of course), precious stones, local food and anything you may want. Fun to just visit even if you want to shop. Remember to bargain.

This is a must stop visit for textile lovers. It's amazing! There are also vendors with gemstones and natural Myanmar beauty products.

mostly for fabrics and gems. Lots of stuff only look old but still it is must see point in Yangon. It is open 9.30AM - 5.30PM so it is also great way to hide from burning sun during the day. The market is enormous and it is easy to get lost there :-) Prices differ but all in all it... More

On our last few hours before departure we had planned to visit this market. It's huge and one needs a good number of hours especially you need to buy gems/jewellery!
