It is a place worthy a short visit. The church is very near the city of Tbilisi. Serene environment will give you somehow time to reflect on your spirituality

The church is located in the center of Tbilisi, in front of the Parliament. Very beautiful church and very namolennye. The pleasant and benevolent feelings. In Georgia, many churches and temples, but it is very special, be sure to visit. Temple almost exactly the same as a beautiful temple Samtavisi built in 1030 and is one of the most important... My husband and I were walking nearby enjoying our time together. We set close to the entrance of the church viewing the environment. A lady that probably works at this church set behind us and understood that we are tourists started to ask as questions. We did not want to go into so much conversation but answered her. She continue... More

One encounters this Russian Orthodox Church exiting the old town toward the fortress. The church boasts a number of frescos and icons. Free and worth a brief visit.

Kashveti Church is a beautiful place to go. Just women have to wear skirt and scarf that can be borrowed from church. Most of the time you can find someone praying there which make it very beautiful with nice atmosphere.

Probably not worth a visit just to see the church but there is no harm stopping there as one walks along Rustaveli Avenue. The evening lighting makes the architecture more interesting.

Beautiful church- 15mins outside Tbilis. It is important to follow dress code- men should be in trousers and women should cover their heads. No pictures can be taken inside. It is a very traditional church complete with nuns. They were completing christenings to young children, which was lovely to watch while we was there. You can spend approx 30minutes on... More

Beautiful church, I spent a long tie inside of it, in the silence and respect, it was warmly candlelit but locals and foreigners kissing or touching the icons. A heartwarming collection of icons so beautiful to admire. Strongly recommended!
