Tbilisi has two good tramways to visit parts of the city and take in the views. I would recommend both. They are well priced and not expensive at all.

Ticket is very cheap, but you must also buy metro card, which you may than return back to the ticket office after finish ride. Great place after long day in the city.

We walked up Narikala Fortress and took the cable car to go down. I recommend you to take this route. You'd have time to chill and breathe and enjoy the view more when you take the stairs. There's also no queue in the cable car...More

We took the cable cars upto the top of the Fortress. Its a nice quick journey with good views over the City and Old Town. We then strolled down the cobbled street back to Old Town.

The actual ride time is pretty short, but the views are incredible. Pretty inexpensive way to see the city from "up top". Great during daylight and evening.

If you want to fly over old Tbilisi that road is the best place for it. Cost 1 lady one way. You can use this road to go up, and walk down. Even with child.

The ride itself is a minute or two, however the line to the ticket booth can vary. It took me 15-20 minutes on line. If you have a metro card loaded with money, I believe you can skip the line. The hours of operation are... More
