It has a treasury at the basement which has interesting stuffs. The first floor is mosetly about Georgia and the second floor has collections from Egypt, Japan, Iran..

The staff are not friendly with tourists, but the museum is still worth visiting. There are enough written explanations in English for each Item and the museum is well organized. The treasury was absolutely amusing. The Persian paintings will also be of great interest to Iranian visitors. Don't forget that the place is closed on Mondays.

The Georgian national museum is a must visit place in the middle of rustaveli street , it got lot of collection from ancient historical things

The biggest building in Shota rustaveli avenue, in 4floor ,very very good place for know history of Georgia

This is a very interesting museum fortunately near my hotel .there was many thing about archeology skull of human and monkey and ....but most interesting part is in the 4th floor .from the far dark light of this exhibition is fearful reflecting the terror and fear that was ruling in those black decades . I predicted a more huge museum... More
