The Meidan Bazaar is underground, close to Metekhi Bridge and St George Cathedral. It is very much a tourist bazaar, so sells souvenirs, antiques (?), handmade works, Georgian wine. Not sure if this is the best place to pick up a bargain . . . but it's nice to walk through.

This market is located below a traffic square and one can find a lot of souvenirs and antique items and this market is in a underground tunnel which is used to cross the road from one end of the road to the other side of the road

Fascinating underground souvenir shop. Very interesting to look at and experience, but it is very tourist-orientated so prices are a bit higher.

I was deliberately overcharged .When I went back to confront them I was lied to.I would check the price of everything you bought and add it up yourself. My better advice would be look and don't buy.

An intetesting market underground in old meidan. Visited by tourists regularly. Has a range of artifacts and trinkets to take away with prices that are quite competitive to other stores in the locality.

This bazaar is underground and quite an eye opener.
The shops just flow into each other and it is an amazing place to visit.

It is a gorgeous little tunnel bazar with pretty much everything you may want to pick up in terms of souvenirs.
It may be little hard to find - small steps leading down into the tunnel but well worth a visit.
