As of August 2018, the zoo was in poor condition. Animals live in terrible conditions. The terrarium is relatively good. There's a green snake that I couldn't get enough of. The price for the ticket is 2 gel, the entrance to the terrarium 2 gel.

I like zoos but this one made me sad. I know they had floods and troubles but I'd say this might be one city that shouldn't have a zoo. I would not go back. They really do need money and support if they are to...More

Nice zoo with interesting and funny animals (some of them are scary as well). Recently the zoo is moving to another (bigger) territory, so part of the zoo is already there.

A small zoo oddly located in residential neighborhood. Although the facilities looked quite aged, the animals were generally very healthy and vigorously active. It has a kids playground as well, so it is a perfect place to pass a couple of hours with young children.

There is nothing interesting in the zoo and is so small. It is poorly maintained and verity of animals is not large. However, for those interested to go there, it takes 15 minutes walking from Technical University metro station.

Its is nice zoo but not excellent. Good collection of animals but needs more enhancements. It won't be bad idea to visit if you have time. Fee is 2 GEL per person.

Had a nice visit at the Tbilisi Zoo last week and we have seen that Tbilisi is a fairly forward thinking city and the zoo reflects that so it was a pleasure to visit it. It is a small zoo well located by the highway...More

We visited the Zoo on Saturday morning. Finding a parking slot around the zoo was difficult. Also finding the entrance was not easy. I suggest you go there by a Taxi. We were surprised to find it empty but later I understood why. The zoo...More
