I would suggest attending this site after you have spent some time in and around Seoul. Do not make this your first stop because you won’t know what you’re looking at! After we had Made many historical site stops with our guide she then took us to this tower. While top she was able to point out sites that we had visited. It all comes together for you when you see it from this vantage point and can figure out where you have been in the city!
If you are in a romantic mood there is a special heart you can purchase and leave at the top in perpetuity. There is a restaurant at the top we unfortunately did not have time to try… Views At night, I hear are amazing but there can be a wait getting up in the elevator, just so you know.
BIG tip: Don’t miss visiting the bathrooms. I don’t want to tell you why because it will spoil the surprise but take my word for it ... this is a bathroom like no other!

Namsan tower is a tourist destination in Seoul. There is two ways to go there, you can walk if you have the love of trekking or you can take the cable cart up. We did the lather, it will only take less than 5 minutes to reach the top. There is a fee using the cable cart. Some coffee shops, restaurant shops at the top. You will have the view of Seoul from that location. Its nice to take photos in the evening with the city lights. From there you can also see where couples place there locks and swear to be together forever. Bring your own lock when you go there for its a bit expensive if you buy it from there.

The place is full of trees and you would feel refresh with the environment.

A must to visit in Seoul.

Choices were limited & we felt the hanboks did not look like what we saw others wear at the palaces. We felt rushed into choosing & fitting of outfits, hair pieces were only simple hairbands. My hair was tied into a pony tail only...

The manager was not friendly, but other staff were ok. Their photography skills were not that great, a lot of blurred pictures.

The place was spacious, nice & clean though.

Overall, I won't recommend unless you have time & money to spare here.

We visited Korea in Dec and it was so cold. Initially did not plan for the hanbok experience because of the cold. But when we chanced upon the indoor hanbok museum, we gave it a try and the experience was pretty good. The staff were very professional, polite and fast. Our family of 7 were dressed in 20 mins. They even lent me a mobile phone tripod and helped to take family photos and suggested poses.

Interestingly, if you book through online operators like klook, you only have 1.5hrs. But if you walk in, you have 3 hours. At the same price. I supposed this place is more pricey than the hanbok rental places around gyeungbokgung but it was seriously too cold at -2° to even consider walking around in hanbok.

Our family took many photos and we really enjoyed the experience.

I had a great Hanbok experience in N Seoul Tower Hanbok Rental! They have a wide range of hanbok designs to choose from: depending on your taste and figure (every model looked clean and brand new, as they take a good care of them). I never thought that hanbok is so easy to dress! They also make your hair look beautiful. In photozone you can find various settings (throne or study room, etc.) representing the life and culture of the Joseon dynasty. I really liked the resulting photos!

My mom and went here. It was on a Tuesday around noon and was very quit, just few other people. You can wear the Hanbok and make pictures by yourself. There are around a few indoor scenery's where you can make very nice pictures and you are allowed to walk around outside. Staff is helpful and friendly. We had a Discover Seoul Pass and the admission was free. Entrance to the Namsan Tower observation desk was also free admission. Recommend!

In contrast to the Hanbok rentals near the major palaces and Bukchon Hanok Village, this one is more quite

As we visited, we first had to take the bus to get to the tower on Namsan mountain. The ride there was really pretty as you experience somewhat of nature in the heart of Seoul. There are a few shops directly at the bottom of the tower as well as a viewing platform. Admission isn’t very expensive and the view is just gorgeous. All in all, if you had to visit only 1 tower in Seoul, this is the one!!

The hanbok hire and photo day did not happen☹️. No sign of the operator at lobby B1 N Seoul Tower and no explanation or warning. We have, of course, requested a refund.

Hello
We booked the hanbok tour and we payed for the cablecar to get up and also climbed the steps just to find out that it is closed? It says in trip advisor that it is open and it also lets us pay for the experience. We want refund.
Sincerely

It is family friendly and it is a tower which surprised me with so many activities in the place itself. It was a nice place to take picture with the colorful locks and the scenery. There are other museums and attractions as well which I did not enter. Do it once to if you are visiting Seoul.
