Must visit if you are a Theme Park mania!
Visited Lotte World with a group of friends! My last visit was in December 2022, and here's few changes to highlight! 1. Reservation system for ride times - They opened reservation system for few popular attractions. So far this system is available for The Conquistador, Aeronauts Balloon Ride and French Revolution. Basically there are specific times that you can go to the attraction to make booking for a ride time. You can enjoy other rides and things until your ride time! (Note that you must visit to book together with your party) 2. Single Rider System - If there's an attraction that you want to ride alone, you can use Single Rider system. There's about 8 attractions which has this system. Suggest to check their website for more information! I would recommend to visit if you are travelling to Seoul and if you are big fan to Theme Park!

    We loved it!
We loved lotte world! Very easy to get to by subway. Our two year old daughter loved it and there were a lot of attractions for her to do. While she napped in the stroller mid-day, we visited the folk museum to learn more about Korean history. We highly recommend that as an add-on to the ticket because their museum is awesome and provides a lot of information!

Lack of recognizable character. A theme park without a theme
this place is amazing but i came here with my daughters at Sunday and that is huge mistake.. it is crowded.. very very crowded.. even for just ride a merry-go-round, i need to wait for 15 minutes. just dont go to lotte world at holidays... i have seoul pass so lotte world is free to visit. well, this place is amazing but it is like disneyland without any disney characters.. they are lack of recognizable figure. I know some local cartoon is famous like "Tayo the little bus". Why they dont use it and pay the license? Compared to other theme park like Legoland, Universal Studios and Disneyland, which has unique branding, this lotte world is like standard theme park.

I booked the tickets thru Klook. Use the subway hit for Jamsil station Exit 4. Once of the Exit keep walking straight until you see the main entrance on your left(see pic). Go into the building, down the escalator. The place to get the entrance ticket is on the left after the escalator. Show the counter the mobile QR code and exchange for the required number of tickets.

The rides are quite fun and the kids enjoyed them very much
Visited Lotte World during December 2023, and it was massively crowded. Queues were very long at the popular rides so you might want to buy the Magic Pass early and not when you are in the park as there are limited places where you can buy these. The rides are quite fun and the kids enjoyed them very much. We bought snacks during the queue so we only had a “proper” meal at one of the restaurants during dinner time.

Visit the aquarium first and buy magic passes
Easily accessible by train or bus. Bought out tickets on Klook ours included the aquarium which I would maybe advise doing first. The cues for certain rides were up to 120mins. Some you could prebook/ make a reservation which I wish we could have known before hand. The folk museum was very interesting and something different to do than cue for rides. We had a fun day out and although we bought headbands ( a must to do) I wish we’d gone all out and rented school uniforms.

Most of the Outdoor Rides Were Closed In Cold Weather
We bought our tickets in advance online, and were given the instructions to exchange for physical tickets at the Lotte World Wild Tour Gate. We arrived 15-20minutes before opening time, and behold, the place was extremely crowded. As there were people everywhere, we couldn't see any signages on where to exchange the tickets and picked one queue, hoping it was right. Wrong queue! After a long wait, we were told to go to another booth (in front) to exchange the tickets before we rejoin the queue we were in. On the 2nd attempt, we were told magic pass is not available here. "Please go to the Main Gate." So we wasted quite a bit of our precious time figuring out where to go and which queues to join. What a start! It was a very cold day in late December. Most of the outdoor rides were closed. But with our magic pass, we were able to skip the lines and enjoyed 7-8 indoor rides in 6 hours. It was a fun day!

Awesome theme park but timing your visit & some pre-planning is essential!
Lotte World is a fantastic theme park a variety of dark rides, thrill rides and stuff for kids. The parade and evening show were also professionally done. We went on a Monday, started right at open and many of the indoor rides were 10 minutes or less. Several we just walked on. The outdoor section was busier with the longest queue that we were in being about 40 minutes. A few tips to save time and money: 1. Go on a weekday but check school holidays in Korea and avoid those dates. 2. Go during the off season if you can - January to March prior to Spring Break 3. Use single rider lines (even if you have more than one person in your party). Doing this turned a 2 hour wait for the Atlantis roller coaster into a 15 minute one. There are a couple of rides that have this option. 4. Look for discounted tickets on Klook. We saved 20% booking that way and the exchange of digital vouchers to physical tickets was quick and easy. Lastly, make sure to visit the Folk Museum (accessible from Lotte World by elevator). It is a world class museum, was not crowded and has some incredible displays and artifacts.

    A Fun Day in Seoul
I didn't know what to expect, but overall I was really happy with my day at Lotte World. If you're a fan of the Disney parks you may be disappointed. The park is not as well maintained as some in the U.S. and there are not as many rides as some of the larger amusement parks found in the U.S. but it's fun way to spend a day in Seoul. We went on a week day and it was still very crowded. It looks like they do have some system to reserve your place in line for some rides, but my group was not able to figure it out.

    Excellent Experience at Lotte World
Me and my family came to Korea for a summer vacation, we visit the amusement park Lotte, it is great place to visit, unfortunately we got there around 1:00pm and that made an impact on the adventures and rides we were able to get on. This is a must place to visit if you travel with little ones there is a lot of parades and rides for the kids as well for the teens and adults. There is a lot of options for food, so it will not disappoint you in that aspect, you may need to either buy the fast pass or buy a 2 day ticket to complete all the rides. We love the Brazilian Parade in late June.

It was cheaper to pre-book on-line, but was still quite pricey for what it offered. There are not many big rides and these had queues of two hours by midday. There were more smaller rides and these were quicker to get on with queues of thirty minutes by midday. Lots of food choice. Toilets were reasonably clean.
We saw two parades, one during the afternoon and one just before closing. Both of which were excellent.
Staff were all cheerful and polite. They all spoke some degree of English.
When paying in the shops you are offered the option of paying in pounds or South Korean Won. Check the exchange rate before going as when we went it was cheaper to pay by Won.

we went there during our winter holiday, and found out that during winter some of the outdoor rides was closed.
then we spend half day inside the lotte world but it was too packed, most of the rides have around 40 minutes waiting line.

but its worth the fun, our 6 years old daughter was have some fun on the park.

TIPS: install the Lotte World Adventure apps on your mobile phone, to get more info on the queue line and you also can book the ride as well.

Whilst at the beginning I thought it was a little pricey, the number of rides available to all and short wait time made it worthwhile. Only downside was the lack of English speaking guides within the park which made it a little difficult to get around. Other than that we had a great time

I visited Lotte world on a rainy day & the outdoor park was closed, but luckly it had indoor park was ineradicable huge park. For indoor park you can have great park for adult and children, different kind of activities were available.

I had to choose to visit either ''Everland'' or ''Lotte World". I chose to visit Lotte World as it was easier to access the park because I had late night flight on that day, so if you have limited time & you want to go to a theme park go to Lotte World as you can go by metro.

I’ve visited many theme parks around the world, including other parks in Asia, and I must say, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. It was truly a terrible experience. The park is extremely overcrowded. For the more interesting attractions, you need to make reservations, but it’s unclear where to do so. Staff to ask for help are hard to find, and the elevators between floors are too small, slow, and crowded. There are also too few stairs, and many signs are only in Korean, making it difficult to navigate for non-Korean speakers. Food is overpriced, and you even have to pay extra for lockers.

The attractions and buildings are beautifully designed, and the staff are friendly. However, we’ve been here for two hours and only managed to ride one small children’s attraction. Even for non-thrilling rides like the balloon ride, you have to wait 70 minutes, which is absurd. Even with reservations, you still have to wait in line. The queue for the next reservation time slot is set up in the hallways, and people end up sitting on the floor while waiting, often just staring into space, doing nothing but waiting.

We came on a Wednesday, hoping it would be less crowded, but the park is full of young people, so coming on a weekday was no advantage for us. We just want to leave and go back to our hotel. Even our daughter isn’t enjoying it. The Lotte Park has been a huge disappointment for the entire family. If it were possible, we’d give 0 stars. It would be fair if the park organizers refunded visitors their money.

A theme park shouldn’t primarily be a place where people just sit around waiting, staring into the air. Visitors should reasonably expect to actually participate in the rides and attractions. We’ve been to other amusement parks in Asia, and this one was by far the worst. Do not come here. It’s a waste of money. This so-called "theme park" is a disgrace to this beautiful country, where there are so many wonderful things to experience. They either need to build more interesting attractions or allow fewer people inside.

Also, I had read negative reviews about the park and still decided to come, thinking it couldn’t be that bad. Now I realize it’s much worse than I ever imagined in my wildest dreams. I strongly warn against underestimating this park! Save your time and money by avoiding this place.

The inside of the park looks absolutely amazing. But that's where the fun stops. The park is so over crowded that ques for rides where hours long with ques snaking around the inside of the park overflowing the ride que systems. Some rides you would have to que for hours to just get a reservation ticket to the que for the ride later. We tried to go back to the gate for magic passes but they were unfortunately all sold out, and lotte worlds app/website won't cater to selling tickets to foreigners (need a koren number).

Overall don't visit during the summer unless you have a magic pass. Otherwise it's a big time waster.

This was our first time in Seoul and the first place that we visited.
They don't have a lot of attractions to do, and it's a bit pricey.
Every month they close some of the attractions on certain days.
I'm not sure why. Go on a weekday less crowded, and wear comfortable shoes!
Lotte World Adventure Park is not to miss! We still had a fun time!

Lotte World was a disappointing experience for us due to overcrowding, making us feel unsafe throughout our visit. The large number of visitors made it difficult to find even try any of the attractions, and the lack of proper crowd management raised safety concerns. Is there is anything happening inside the building, everyone will be trapped! Moreover, the bad service we encountered added to our frustration, as the staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to handle the high volume of guests efficiently. We hoped for a memorable day at the theme park but left feeling dissatisfied and concerned about the overall experience. We brought 9 tickets we went in and left in less than an hour! We asked for refunds and they seems like not understanding and unwilling to refund us at all! NOT please with this place!
