- Apple DLuzon, Philippines83 contributionsAutumn 2023We wanted to go out of city to witness the fall foliage but didn’t have the time and energy. So we went here instead. Came around 10 to 12-ish and the park was not yet crowded. You will still find little spots that is quiet despite the busyness of everyone wanting to see the leaves. What I like about this is you can tie it up with a trip to hip Seongsu with lots of cafes. Had we gone to Nami or elsewhere out of town, we would not be able to pick our lunch and would have been forced to eat in a tourist trap. And oh, as in pretty much all of Seoul, easy subway ride.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten October 30, 2023

Beautiful park in the snow, kids enjoyed themselves pelting their parents (me in particular ) with snowballs. There’s also bunnies to see.Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten January 22, 2024

During my visit in April, I enjoyed their tulip festival, which was a lovely experience. Watching and feeding various roe deer and sika deer in the eco-forest area was also quite enjoyable. Spring is the perfect time to capture beautiful photos along the cherry blossom path and take a leisurely stroll to the nearby Sowon Waterfall. What’s more, there are plenty of cafes with unique atmospheres near Seoul Forest, ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee. For anyone seeking a peaceful escape into Seoul's greenery, it’s well worth a visit.Visited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten June 28, 2024

We enjoyed visiting Seoul Forest and learned it’s really four parks that make up Seoul Forest. It was a nice, cool fall Monday that made it very scenic everywhere. Colorful fall leaves everywhere.
A leisurely walk around the forest took about two hours which for us was around 2.5 miles.
Plenty of places to get snacks and drinks.
And it’s very close to Under Stand Avenue…

Love going to Seoul Forest. I have visited both during the spring, summer and fall. This past April, I went to see the sea of tulips and wasn’t disappointed, even during Corona Virus, the colorful tulips brought happiness and hope. But you can visit this place at any time and there will be some sort of flowers to enjoy. Peaceful for walks, picnics, dates, and activities for the whole family. I will definitely be back in the future. Lots of cafes and restaurants near by to enjoy.

A park rather than a forest, but still a nice place to go for a peaceful wander. Lots of things to see, including the 'Invisible Giants' area, deer enclosure, etc. On a hot day the trees drop the temperature. There are toilets and cafes. Lots of seats which are placed in areas that will protect you from the sun, rain and snow.

The park is big and has a good walk path, so it's convenient for taking a walk.
There are many beautiful cafes around, and it's fun to visit them.
Also, there are many trees. feel like one is in the woods of the city.
It's a good place to come when you want to rest, and to come with anyone, your boyfriend, family or friends.

It's alright, a quiet place to get away from the busy city. The kids seemed to love the water feature. We preferred Namsan park - get the cable car to the top and walk down. The walk down is amazing. I think there are two walks down - one has stairs and one doesn't.

Quiet, park-like "forest" in a mostly residential area, near to lots of nicer restaurants. 5-10 minute walk to the nearest subway stop. Some trails, benches and, of course, trees.

OUr daughter took us here and it is one of her favourite places to enjoy some fresh air and greenery whilst she works in Seoul. Easy to walk around, lots to look at, we saw deer and lots of birds etc. Looks like a popular spot for locals.

Line 2: Ttukseom Station, Exit 8 or Line Bundang: Seoul Forest Exit 3
Written April 12, 2018
When you exit the station, there few shops or restaurants before you can reach the entrance of Seoul Forest.

Once I get to Seoul forest station, which exit should I leave from? Can I also get walking directions to there from the station?? Thank you

You're going to take exit 3 at Seoul forest station. Once you're at street level, walk straight until you reach the 1st intersection and turn right, do not cross the street. When you turn right, you should see a car tunnel ahead. If you see the tunnel, continue walking down til you reach the next cross walk. Cross the road, and you should see a blue sign with the number 1 on it. Any of the paths on the right of the sign lead into the forest. There should be and information center, and small convenience store right next to the sign. The huge Seoul Forest Sign is on the other side of the forest on Gate 9. Hope this helps!
