Visited the place on 3 occasions. Sellers very honest and friendly. Best place to buy clothes and shoes. Don't buy electronics as most are cheap imitations. At least the some of the sellers are honest enough to tell you that the electronics(phones) are imitations. I used the Metro to access it.

That's just the place to be if antiques are what you are looking for. Remember to bargain.. They hype prices all the time..

You could find wholesale shops in Attaba (Musky St). It is easily accessible; by Metro(1 LE anywhere in Cairo), bus(1LE) or mini bus. I found the cheapest things are ladies' sock(the best one is Sandy brand), cotton abaya, darbuka(goblet drum), pyjamas etc.

The Attaba souq, or Attaba Market, it is a market in down town of Cairo, where you should go very early, by cap, if you have a car there is a very big park building inside the market, be careful for your money as it is like any crowded market in the world, avoid June, July, August as weather is... More
