To begin with, it doesn't "hang," its just built on posts and beams. So? If you're into seeing different kinds of churches, then you can learn a little bit about the Coptic Christians here.

As part of our tour of Coptic Cairo, we went here. Very beautiful, a little weird that they have bags of old bishops' bones in the church, but this is an Orthodox practice. Worth seeing
