A bit small but really gives you the experience of living in her era ... And the video show was really informative and to the point

This collection of photos and memorabilia of the great Egyptian singer is barely worth the visit. If you go, ask the attendant to play you the videos of the singer. Otherwise you'll have no idea what the divine one sounded like!

Not a fan of Umm Kolthoum's work, and having only heard of her thanks to a famous Egyptian jewellery collection my wife adores, I had no real ideas of what the museum might hold. It's a small, well organised (better than the Antiquities museum) museum which evidences the high regard for which Umm Kolthoum was held throughout the region. Photos,... More

This place was just amazing, at least that's what I thought. I visited this place at like 10am on a Friday so very few people were there. After going into the museum, which I thought was super interesting, I sat in one of the huge gardens in the place and just read a book in front of the beautiful nile.... More

I had an amazing afternoon (not many visitors on a Monday so it was peaceful) with only a TV series film crew for company wondering around the museum: listening to the first Arab world diva songs in the audio library, admiring her dresses and the shoes she wore at her concerts, not to mention the famous scarf she waved, watching... I'm not a huge fan onfUmm Kolthoum's music, but I did enjoy this small, quiet place dedicated to her memory. She was and still is a Middle East treasure; the evidence is on display in the cabinets of medals she was given by kings and countries. I enjoyed the display of her dresses and her trademark diamond-studded sunglasses as well... More
