I used to take my dog here. She could run around off leash (rare in Cairo). Other times, I would come here with friends and we'd hike around or set up a BBQ somewhere. Lovely place!

In Wadi Degla, you have to bring BBQ materials and tools to enjoy the hiking and desert life within Africa. Very nice place. Reasonable entrance fees. You can also walk, climb ot cycle. Enjoy

Yes, but you must carry everything with you and there is no water and toilets
