Archaeological site of the utmost interest, nice seasonal lake, lovely palm groove. Nice traditional meals. Unfortunately severely littered.

Dahshur pyramid is famous for bent pyramid... Its a beautiful open area with very less tourist. Easy to access and visit both the pyramids (Bent & Red). You can go inside the pyramid with the same ticket & enjoy the visit inside. It's bit tiring...More

The whole complex is beautiful and easy to get to with a tour group or cab. Due to recent unrest in the area, the whole complex was practically deserted during our visit. In some cases, this can mean that you are mobbed with touts and...More

Dahshur consists of the Bent Pyramid, the Black Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. It presents the most authentic pyramid experience as you are able to wander without camels, horses and touts. This is the Egypt of 30-40 years ago, and it is delightful.

The Pyramid at Dahshur was the most impressive as it has three rather larger chambers inside unlike the Giza Pyramids. The ony downer is the natural occurring amonia gas encountered while wondering around inside.

Definitely worth the drive, it was incredible to be out in the middle of the desert, only saw 4 other people and they left as we arrived. Walking in the desert to the pyramid and just standing there, look up, is mind-boggling - and most...More

The Bent and Red pyramids were surprisingly big. With few people here we could contemplate the immensity and age of these wonders. Highly recommend going here. Just seeing Giza is not enough.
