Good location to view pyramids and ride a camel if you like, very busy and a lot of souvenir salesmen.

One would be crazy to come to Egypt and not visit here, after all these arguably the most famous structures on the planet. My experience was that is is better to book a tour from your hotel so you avoid haggling with the hordes of guides at the site, and even that is no guaranty.Once we got there we booked... More

Lucky to visit the great Pyramids, and was awesome. But spoilt by the behaviour of the vendors / horse ride... Found them aggressive, and wouldn't take no for an answer. I really wanted to be able to wander and find a peaceful spot to admire the amazing scenery. Our taxi driver was excellent, and took us as close as possible.

Amazing experience to be in the Giza plateau on camels. It's a wonder and one can enjoy the sight most beautifully only when you are on the ship of desert. The camel ride is of 30 minutes.

it's an amazing site to see the pyramids, the area is large, so i would go on horseback or camel to get the full effect. the earlier you can get there the better, there will also be a lot of venders around, try to bring plenty of water, there is a lot of ground to cover.

One of the most amazing experiences so far was visiting the Giza Plateu where the Giza Pyramids are located. Dated more than 3000 years ago, these magnificent works of architecture take your breath away immediately. I encourage everyone to go an visit Egypt.
