Overall we had a great experience! But I do recommend negotiating if wanting to ride a horse or a camel, they would ask for extra money for taking you around, going up, going down, taking pictures and tip! Yup.. Each thing separate! Because at the entrance it is so crowded you are not able to take a picture, full of... More

There are three pyramids here. We were able to go into the smallest one. Especially enjoyed the Cheops Boat house. They recently found a boat in an enclosure in the ground next to a pyramid while excavating for repairs. It is estimated to be 4000 years old and in housed in a building that has access to see each level... More

A wonder not to be missed! This plateau show the 3 Pyramids of Giza, a place beyond words! You can check the site and take pictures around. Try to go early morning or at sunset as the weather might be hot even during March. A small camel or horse ride is a best thing to enjoy. You might find some... More

Well this is a place beyond words and trying to understand the complexities is beyond most of us. The concern of being in a location that may put you in danger disappears once your there, media hype maybe? but can only say this place is a must.

We visited early February and in Cairo there is a huge amount of sandy dust that hangs in the air and does not settle until about 11 am in the morning. We were told this happens this time of the year. We had an early tour of Keops and arrived on the Plateau before 11 am. The poor visibility totally... More

When you will stand in front of these pyramids, you will only wonder how it was built here 4500 years ago! You should walk further down to take a photo of all the six pyramids together. Be aware of the people around you as they can create hassle if you are alone. Try to negotiate before hopping into a camel,... More
