We visited in November and we almost had the place to ourselves. Nice experience all around. We came with a guide and driver from our hotel, so the various vendors other reviewers have complained about weren't a problem. Definitely get your picture on a camel in front of the pyramids - a priceless memory!

If this is the first thing you plan to see you will be frightened by the "tour guides" and camel riders... Not to speak about fake papyrus "museums". What you will see here is 3 huge Pyramids, one of them is open to public but boring and very very expensive and a couple small ones where you will be asked... More

This place is again not breathtaking, but this review is written with hind sight after seeing the more spectacular sites of Aswan and such. Pay the extra $$ and go into the chamber. It's a steep climb, very claustrophobic. I feel bad for the egyptians who depend on tourism for their economy. It's down 70%, so vendors are over aggressive.... More

you gotta visit it. it is worth it, go early so you can book a tour to enter pyramid and walk inside their alleys and secret rooms, they close booking to enter pyramid by noon, so get ready to be early. you will need water and energy drink, the weather is dry and very hot. a hat and sun block... We came up here after visiting the Pyramid of Cheops. It was a great location to see all of the pyramids and have some great group pictures. Didn't feel as hassled to buy anything from the vendors as the Pyramid of Cheops but still some were there. If you would like there is a camel ride you can do over... More

Well not much to see here, except for lol the most incredible monuments men have ever created. The Great Pyramids of Egypt. I think everyone who can should go and see this for them selves!

I had a great feeling of awe in walking around these pyramids, however that was offset by constantly being harassed by people offering to be my guide or vendors selling trinkets or camel and horse ride people wanting me to take a ride. I found this VERY annoying. The best way to deal with them is to ignore them. Don't... More

We scheduled a day trip to the pyramids through Emo with Hoka as our guide. Quite a view with the pyramids in the background. We took a camel ride, which our guide helped arrange, and enjoyed that as well. Definitely need to go the extra distance to get to the plateau!

My tour of the plateau started at dawn. Watching the sun rise over the pyramids. We drove from site to site and spent more than four hours learning about and enjoying all the different aspects of the plateau. Enjoy it and take time to see it!

A great view of all three main pyramids and the three small ones. We were hassled by hawkers plying their trade but all were polite and easy to get away from, politely.
