One of the wonders of the ancient world and whose images we know from childhood, the pyramids of Giza are awe-inspiring and almost beyond description.... Something to see at least once in a lifetime and cherish it forever ....

Wow, wow....it was amazing to see them in person. Pictures do not do them justice. We took a camel ride and viewed them from many angles. I am so glad we visited Egypt and the pyramids.

Went to see the pyramids today. Took a guide and a horse for each member of my family which made the tour even more memorable.Nice to see this ancient masterpiece firsthand. You can also see the pyramids on foot which is cheaper and still take...More

The pyramids are amazing. The inside of the pyramid is anti-climatic, so set your expectations low for that. No mummy style sites inside.

The pyramids and the Sphinx are everything I ever dreamed of seeing only better. We travelled in November and so the weather was warm in the day time. However, it is best to get there early before the crowds begin to assemble.

From people in our group who did go in, knee issues could be a problem. The ones that did go in weren't really impressed. If you go to Valley of the Kings you will be able to go in the tombs with less problem.

KFC and McDonald's were about 2 blocks and other restaurants were also near by.
