The Aga Khan is the hereditary Imam (leader) of the Nisari Ismailis. The Aga Khans mausoleum overlooks the Nile River, near Aswan.. You can find it without too much bother. It's interesting, without being spectacular.

Pretty impressive mausoleum of Aga Khan on a hill on the banks of the river Nile. Saw this when sailing in a felucca.

Make this site a must visit when in Aswan. It is a tranquil, beautiful architectural experience and devoted memorial to a magnificent man.

The Mausoleum of Aga Khan sits on a hilltop on the West Bank of the Nile River across from Aswan. It’s an impressive looking building but it’s closed to the public.
