This auditorium was refurbished a couple of years ago and is now a fantastic venue for music concerts and theatrical productions. Has some paid parking, clean toilets, a bar and a small snack bar (in intervals).

We visited the Kenya national theatre after a long period since we'd heard some improvements had been done. We were not disappointed! The refurbished theatres is clean with nice toilets and a nice restaurant.
We went to watch Sarafina, the musical and it was a great production and the 2.5 hours seemed so short as we really enjoyed ourselves. The kids can't wait to go back for another show!
There need to.improve the canteen and have.more snack options especially for.kids and can they please allow snacks especially since some of the productions are really.long!

You want to catch up on your art in terms of plays, talks, exhibitions etc, pop into Kenya National Theater and you will definitely find some type of artsy thing going on. Went for an engage talk and really enjoyed the experience.

This was a fabulous performance and the venue was lovely. We were sitting near the front (something I rarely choose to do) - yet view was good, the seats very comfortable and the ambience tasteful. Booster seats were available for the kids. Only issue was a lack of water in the downstairs female toilet.
