If you've seen the movie, it's nice to see the house. However, Karen Blixen failed because she tried to grow coffee at an altitude that did not support it. A nice side trip.

Watch the movie and read the book before visiting this museum and you will enjoy the experience even more. You tour the actual house with the original furnishings. Small gift shop on premises

I was invited here to dinner by a friend who lived in the neighborhood and everyone knew her. I had the duck, which was excellent.

Wonderful main and dessert dishes. We have loved to visit this restaurant over the past 6 years, as a family of 7, it has a wonderful fishpond and grounds for children and adults to enjoy.

we spent one full day in Nairobi and this was one of our few stops. The property and the house are beautifully maintained and garden area around the cottage is done well both in design and execution - the tour is informative and competent
