During the stay at Naivasha, you can go for hiking in these mountain, also as an alternate you can plan for a day trip from Nairobi. Fresh air. Great sceneries of the Rift valley.

The climb to the mountain is quite tiresome thou its worth it,the air at hills is so refreshing and the scene is priceless.

Had a good 4 day stay on the hotel .. hotel provides all services and the staff here are very friendly.. Rooms are comfortable.. Placed at a good location almost in the middle of the city..

The Ngong Hills (knuckles) lie along the Great Rift Valley, located southwest near Nairobi. The Ngong Hills, from the eastside slopes, overlook the Nairobi National Park. The peak of the Ngong Hills is at 2460 meters (8070 feet) above sea level.

Yes they do. There weren't any charges for picnicking except the entrance fee. Also i wouldn't say there are specific spots that are for picnics, just that most people usually prefer the ridge between the 2nd and 3rd hills... More

Around 1k (1000 KES ~ $10). Whereby I've personally never used a guide to hike those hills. Won't see a reason. Unless someone feels insecure and threatened by the open and I fenced environment. ;) But seriously - big game... More
