In common with the majority of Commonwealth War Graves, the cemetery in Nairobi is superbly maintained. The Commission do great work in providing our war dead with a tranquil final resting place. Worth visiting to pay your respects. At the time of writing, access is...More

The cemetery offers an opportunity for a reflective browse amongst immaculately kept graves in magnificent gardens. We had it all to ourselves on a sunny Sunday afternoon and found it very interesting and peaceful.

Good to see how well kept up is this place. Distressing to see how many are there to be remembered while the monkeys play around the memorials. The events here are observed with respect, and can be attended in similar vein.

The space is very well kept and very quiet. Even at this distance in time its shocking to perceive how many youg man died in order to ensure that we, now, can enjoy freedom. I discover this place due to my geocaching hobby.
