My mother took my 2 teenage nephews on an African safari in Kenya this summer. The boys said that their favorite thing on the trip was the hot air balloon ride ending with a delicious breakfast on the ground. Great memories!

We stayed in the IL MORAN TENTED CAMP for 4 nights. This is top of class safariing. It is a tented camp with excellent service, unbelievable service and the best safari guides. This is an extraordinary place to stay and take safaris from. The guides are very knowledgeable and capable. We had an awesome stay here.

Governers Camp has definitely seen better days, just like the colonial Governers who used to frequent the place and enjoy a privileged vacation. It is now in serious need of a complete overhaul to elevate it to the high standards of many other camps and lodges in the brilliant Masai Mara. The tents at Governers are average and need to... We asked Governor's to book our drivers, local flights, transfers and accommodations rather than trying to do it ourselves. BEST DECISION! Mbula, in the Nairobi office, helped us plan our trip and made great recommendations about what to do, where to go and how long to allocate for each experience. She was easy to work with and each suggestion was... More

We had an amazing safaris experience. We saw lion pride take down two Cape buffalo, saw leopard take his kill up a tree, saw thousands of wildebeest, saw hyenas mating, it was beyond my expectations... our guide Simon was not just knowledgeable and skilled he was fun and great sense of humour. Accommodations and food excellent.

My family and I stayed in this wonderful venue for five nights in 2013. What a fantastic experience it was. A tented luxurious camp located on a large marsh which was full of wild life, elephants, water buffalo, bird life etc 24/7. Warthogs wander throughout the camp at all times and just steer a course around human beings as they... More

Beautiful place, very friendly staff and amazing food. A very peacfull place especially after having spent hours in a jeep. An amazing camp... A little place of heaven. Animals are around the camp. Our neighbour was a baby elephant. The best place to be while doing a safari.

Just returned from a 3 day stay at Governor's Camp. We were treated like royalty by all the staff, who catered to our every desire. The game drives were awesome, and our guide seemed to be able to spot animals that we never saw until he pointed them out. The first night we had hippos outside our tent along with... More

An early rise to free the dawn and the miracle that is the Masai Mara. We went outside the migration time but the experience was unforgettable! A complete selection of game and expert pilotage by a very experienced and knowledgable expat Michael. He was able to guide the balloon at various altitudes from the very high to literally skimming the... More
