Nyali Beach is quite a lovely site. The white sands make the place a beautiful site. One thing though is the constant presence of the beach boys who will jump at any opportunity to sell there merchandise to you...they won't let you enjoy the views in peace.watch out for them

Its a hotel with a grand name, in a beautiful compound within a prime location but clearly run down... Well mannered but tired looking workers, nice food though cold-ish,totally washed down irrelevant TV channels... Maybe its this time of the year but really... Needs to do much better... I have had better service at cheaper lower level facilities and I... More

The tides are fascinating - low tide reveals a sand bar and little pools full of life and high tide brings waves crashing on the rocks. The problem is that there are lots of vendors all selling the same things and aggressively pursuing clients. I always try to be friendly if someone really wants to have a conversation, but these... Nyali Beach seems to be a lot cleaner than others in the area. Its smaller and more private. Less hawkers too. The Resorts here welcome travellers coming in from the beach and buying lunch etc.. A nice happy feeling place

Parts of the beach is quiet and no vendors. But the parts by the resorts too many vendors on you all the time. Location wise it's very handy to Mombasa and MOI airport. Restaurants and shops are spread along the beach stretch, one would need transport.
