My family and I chose Baracuda based on referral from other divers and we were not disappointed. I have never dived before so I took the open water course with Steve Turnnidge. I am now certified with 5 dives under my belt. Two other people that were with me have a lot of experience including one who is an instructor... More

Completed our basic open water course with Baracuda and what an experience it was! We'd never dived before but Gilbert, our Dive Master, was awesome! He was calm, fun and super interested in showing us the ropes! We coordinated everything via email, in advance with Steve, and everything went super smooth. He even arranged for us to be picked up... The Baracuda Divers are very client friendly. If you don't have your own gear with you, they will provide you with all you need. In the warm water of that part of the Indian Ocean, a shorty is sufficient. They also pick you up at the hotel to bring you to the Marina. From there a short boatride brings you... More

In only took me 2 days to get my scuba diving certification. Steve was a great instructor and it was super easy to do with him guiding me. I'll definitely be back to get my open water diver certification! :-) For those of you not interested in getting certified they have fun doves as well. It's like going on safari?... More

My girlfriend and I travelled to Kenya in May, staying in the Voyager Beach Hotel. We went to Buccaneer diving at Voyager. There was no "dive atmosphere" and the staff there only appeared to be interested in money. So we ended up diving at Barracuda diving. My girlfriend didn't have that many dives under her belt. She hadn't gone off... More

Having been certified with Baracuda, I have continued my diving with them over the last 5 years (have even tried diving with some other dive companies locally as well as internationally), I couldn't understand why I kept going back to Steve and his crew year after year, month after month. Its only recently when I realised that when one follows... More
