The bus station to Macao and Zhuhai from Hong Kong is very, very inconvenient. It is big, out of the way, too much walking for immigration and bus station. The ground staff who let you onto the bus are the rudest staff you will encounter on planet Earth… The staff are so rude that it makes the HKSAR Government look in poor light. The staff are just very, very rude. This is a Hong Kong thing, you cannot expect good, decent staff on the ground, they will always be rude. Although the bus takes only 40 mi s to reach but it’s the most inconvenient way to reach Macao and back to Hong Kong, better take the ferry as even after reaching Macao the transport system is a big failure in Macao at the bus station, not enough shuttle to hotels and huge, very huge shortage of taxis in Macao, so you are better off taking the ferry to Macao or Cotai or Taipa Island, but bus can be avoided even though it is only 55 dollars but once you reach there you will realise how inconvenient this bus station is for visitors.

Haiku With You in Shanghai

Cool breeze, Summer morn.
Weeping Willows river crossed
No tears follow me.

Dancing Dragonflies
Mingle with Cicada spheres
Make music morning

Walking quiet path
A bottle of wine to share
Why we hurry on?

Soon the morning ends
Too soon the glass will empty.
Enjoy our story.

In late November, I hiked through Pok Fu Lam country park upto Victoria Peak.

It was a nice quiet walk. I recommend you DO NOT jog, but take it easy and walk at it’s a journey and steep, so enjoy the walk and views. I jogged for the first ten minutes and realized, this was better to walk, as it’s steep.

The sign says 45 min to walk up, which is a good estimate. About 2.25 km. The reward of the views in top, is worth it and breath taking.

I took a cab from my hotel to Pok Fu Lam country park and started my hike. I Took the tram in the way down for 37 hkd. I then continued my walk through Hong Kong park.

Highly recommend the hike up, enjoy the Gorgeous views, restaurant, experience the tram (with its amazing history), and take a walk through Hong Kong park after.

The amazing part about the views is one side looks out the skyline of Hong Kong, the architecture, and commercial hustle/bustle, while the other side looks out to the sea side view, calm and serene.

We enjoyed old people discount to visit the big Panda Park close to downtown. First we visited the adults, but they were very lazy. Much more interesting were the growing up Pandas. They are very active and good for taking pictures. You can visit special areas for bringing up Pandas.
The park has also other nice places like the swan lake and restaurants.
There is also an elektro bus service, bringing people around the park, but waiting time can big quite long.
If you want to see active Pandas, this park is your destination!

Go to the peak again within 2 months, more restaurants were opened since my last visit. Basically good place for hang out, relax, photos and coffee.
Enjoy the view and weather very much.

Easy access to get there.. a cheap bus ride. And a trek up the peak is ok, cool breeze, easy hike, good view! sunset is amazing! don't miss it, it is one of the good thing once you're up there.

China did a remarkable job regulating visitors during National Holiday week, so that despite the many visitors, I could see the full Panda exhibits and enjoy their playful behaviors.

We were on a tour, so did not have to take the tram (or ding-ding) to the summit.

At the moment, whilst the shopping centre at the summit is undergoing renovation, the view is all you would go up there for - but to be fair, it is a good one!

Tickets worked great. Crowded place with incredible views of palaces around a lake. Nice to take small ferries over lake to see different sides.
