Not a destination in itself, but well worth an early morning stroll if you are staying anywhere near this stretch of Kublai Khan's Xanadu with its earthen city wall ruins, restored moat and surrounding greenspace. In the context that I am pushing 60 and really enjoy a nice walk this is a lovely place. Exit Xitucheng, metro line 10, at exit C and you are at the gate to the park. The only thing here to see is the statue of Kublai Khan. If you are a fan then you should probably come see this. The statue is of him standing with his advisors from all over the world.
