It is hard to find temples in China where you feel there is actually religion being actively practiced. No monument or landmark in modern day Beijing has this feel to it, but at the Jietai Temple in Beijing's Western Hills you do get some sense of China's very long Buddhist history. i bought the combo tickets (RMB 85) with Tanzhe temple. it's even smaller then Tanzhe, Both temples are serene. Jeitai temple has a in house vegetarian restaurant. Initially we wanted to have Lunch there. but after reviewing their Rules and regulation, We refuse to have lunch there. 1) male and female counter part have to per-seated separately. 2) children are...
