We spent 4 hours here and it was wonderful. It wasn’t busy at all this time of the year so it made it more magical. Highly recommend.

A must for every trip to Beijing. The temple is very nice with beautiful decorations. The sensations when walking the aptly named Long Corridor. ( connects the Animal Killing Pavilion, the Divine Kitchen and the Divine Warehouse) are fantastic

Such a beautiful garden. The Temple of Heaven is a must see because it's so aesthetically pleasing. it was the beautiful grounds and the number of locals doing their morning exercises that impressed us even more.

Get there by 6am, and you will see people exercising already. Main park opens earlier than the temple sites.

ticket is no problem buy there a full package. there are 2 types of tickets one for park only and second is for entry into the temple. it is better to buy 2nd type.

I have seen many Chinese and even tourists running around on their EL mopeds and Scooters. But I don't recall seen any rentals around Temple of Heaven
