Beihai Park is a wonderful area to go for a stroll to get away from the crowds of the surrounding area. You can see some sights, like the 9-sided dragon and white pagoda, take a little boat out on the lake (which you are allowed to drive yourself), or just park up on a bench to people watch. There is something for everyone here

Ancient buildings, clean environment, sparkling pools of water. There is one of the eight scenery of Yanjing, Qiongdao Spring Yin, and you can also see Taili Akiwa. The white jade Buddha in the regimental city is worth visiting, as well as the white-robed General Tree.

The park is ten centuries old, the territory is huge, and there are many independent attractions on this territory. Such as Bai Ta (white stupa), Yunan and Chanfu temples, the wall of 9 dragons, the round wall, etc. Also Lake Taihu, on the surface of which many people are punished. Admission is free, the landscapes are memorable. Many girls in national costumes.

This is the perfect place to visit, if you need a break from city hustle and stress. Beautiful lake with lotuses, trees swaying gently in the wind. We took a relaxing boat ride which adds to the experience. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite places in Beijing. Beautiful Park to walk and relax in. Take a boat trip to see the Lotus beds. Hire a boat on the main lake. It is a must to climb through the various temples on Jade Island to get to the White Pagoda and on the North West side there are a number of temples and ancient buildings to explore including the nine dragon screen.

Beihai Park is not just a tourist stop, but also a great park for a Sunday evening stroll. You can walk the whole loop in about 1 hour. If you want to see the big “White Pagoda” up close just add another hour (you can go to the top of the island in the middle of the lake for no extra fee, but if you want to go into the White Pagoda you’ll have to purchase a second ticket at the entrance to the pagoda). There’s a few food/drink shops scattered around the loop where you can buy water, popcorn, tea, ice cream, or corn dogs. Lots of cool windy paths on the center island (feels like playing Oblivion or Skyrim). Have fun!

Recommend this place within easy access from the forbidden city and right around the corner from the famous hohai bar street. The park is large But not as huge that would overwhelm a visitor. It's easily possible to cover it in an afternoon. Make sure you climb up the stairs to the white pagoda. Very pretty views from up there. A paddle or electric boat ride is also fun in the lake. If you don't have enough time to go to the summer palace (which is quite a drive away) you may opt for this park. The outdoor areas are similar in style and what there is to see.

This is a pretty park to the NW of the Forbidden City that is enjoyed by many local families. You can rent boats in the summer and ice skates in the winter. There are a number of pathways to stroll for a relaxing afternoon.

This is a spiritual place very close to the heart of Beijing. The place is very nice and quiet. Temple is worthy to visit. Boat riding in the lake is also enjoyable. This is also a must visit place anyone visiting Beijing

We could see this park from the top of Jingshan park, especially its landmark white Dagoba. As it was near Jingshan park, we walked here after visiting Jingshan park. Quite nice to walk around, expecially around the lake.
