We encountered two floors of highly aggressive and rude salespersons. On exit and on the ground floor, we stopped to purchase a drink and were immediately the target of pick pockets. The ensuring stress associated with cancelling credit cards and the distress having been the...More

We went twice as we found it was the best market for souveirs. There are also lots of scarves, bags, shoes, clothes, electronics, watches, jewellery to choose from. The higher floors have more souvenirs and chinese art. Test out your haggling skills, you win some,...More

Don't misconstrue the name of the market as it sells FAR more than just pearls. You can find clothing, accessories, electronics, shoes, watches, toys, and yes, jewelry, at the Pearl Market. The layout of the building is very much like a grid pattern making it...More

Fun market to test your bargain skills, but remember to bargain hard. Don't be shy and start low, the salesmen know how to rip you off. The pearl market has more stuff than just pearls and a great atmosphere.

Pearl Market was great if you are willing to bargain. Sellers are very savvy so bargain hard! 20% of price is a good guide.

I got a recommendation to go to the pearl market for quality pearls and it didn't disappoint. The market is indoors which is a welcome escape from the warm sun in April. The first few floors are all market stalls with copies of designer bags...More

Very affordable wholesale shopping mall with about any accessory you need. Be careful about some of the prices because there isn't a fixed price and sellers will try to haggle the price with you. Bad part is you might sometimes get pulled into shops even...More

Hi Sarah. We have shopped at both many times- buying for personal items and for my wife's business. We prefer Pearl Market -bags. Actually Pearl Market seems a bit more peaceful. Both are busy, but Silk seems more crazy... More

I'd definitely go to the pearl market. Is much better than the silk one.
