Okay. So this review is a little bias. Why? Because it was a personal disaster. So the group I was with decided that they would like to do a spot of shopping at this place for pearls. The Pearl Market sounded to me like it...More

The Pearl Market is a more formally set out than it it used to be, and in truth is a little less chaotic and a little less fun. Nevertheless it always worth a visit if you are in Beijing, and a must if you enjoy...More

You should come here just for the experience. There's something wrong with anyone who trust a seller decreasing from 500$ to 5 $. So just visit& enjoy. It is funny to see the seller decreasing the price 10 times and still trying desperately to try...More

You need to be ready to be hassled and to bargain, especially if you are white. I came with my Mexican boyfriend, they barely spoke to him. I am white and they grabbed me constantly. But go here with bargaining in mind. You need to...More

Beware of sellers trying to push you fake silk. Check the purchase to make sure the seller is not delivering something different from what is on display.

A huge market place for shoppers who are interested in get some China made products home. The items here usually started off really high price and you would have to test your bargaining skills without jeopardising the customer-salesperson relationship. We each bought a winter wear...More

I personally wouldn’t bother returning to this market. It’s good for pearls, but nothing else. Silk market is much better if you’re looking for bags, clothing, fakes, etc. And don’t buy anything electronic in either.

I don't like aggressive sales people and overpriced products that you have to haggle over, so this was not for me. The sales people would not really allow you to shop. If you pick up something, they immediately start trying to haggle with you over...More

I normally hate shopping but this place was great! They have multiple levels of shopping from clothes, to electronics, to jewelery. They also have a food court I bought all of my souvenirs from this place because of the price (haggling is a must!). I...More
