This is a nice small art gallery tucked away in the middle of central near Central MTR. It hosts a number of art exhibits such as no less than Picasso, cubism, impressionism etc. The gallery seems to need better signage at the entrance to the Pedder building, but I spotted a few holiday makers trying to find it. It must be included so that it appears on the iPhone and android app as an attraction in Central for art lovers.

First of all, Tripadvisor is not very strong on reviews on Art venues, which is a pity. Great Gallery

Seven or Eight top asian galleries are in the building and you will always find some very interesting art exhibitions in the building. Ben Brown Fine Artst seem to have reduced it space in the last half year, nevertheless it has world class art... More

Ben Brown Fine Art is a London based gallery which opened its exhibition space in Hong Kong in 2009 in the historic Pedder Building in the Central District. Here you can often see exhibitions of contemporary art, like the present showing of works by Spanish painter, Miquel Barceló. In the past, the Ben Brown Fine Art gallery has hosted some... More

Great exposition and friendly people. We were there by chance but the collection was impressive. There was an excibition of a talanted hk painter which we liked a lot. Located upstairs in a business centre.

OK, So HK does not have 'dedicated' large scale museums like the Tate in London or the Louvre in Paris. This small gallery (the size of a small restaurant) way up the Pedder building is not really well sign posted and the entrance is a bit obscure off the main street, but when you get there its quite amazing. I... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
