Possibly the last Chinese junk to be painstakingly handcrafted in Hong Kong, aqualuna was created using age old designs and traditional materials by an 80 year old local craftsman. Also known as “Cheung Po Tsai” in Cantonese, aqualuna is named after the infamous Cheung Chau island pirate who used to terrorize the waters. Guests are able to absorb Hong Kong’s history while enjoying the intoxicating harbour and skyline views on board. This iconic Hong Kong experience is completed by cocktails and snacks served in the boat’s large cabin and open air decks.

For tourist you pay $$$ for a trip that would cost you peanuts on the Star Ferry ( which is a must btw) but there is magic, the saffron sails, the old wood, the skyline, the loungy music! Don't go for the dim sum, symphony or sunset whatever. You can only a be a tourist to a certain extent! Good option... More

Book online beforehand. I think it was around $350-400HK for 2 people. We took the 8:30pm cruise around the harbor. Get to the pier early to enjoy the view & sign in. The boat was barely half full so we could move up and down the stairs. They serve a cocktail once on board. Great pictures and at 45min, the... More

What a great way to see how Hong Kong changes as the sunsets, especially over Chinese New Year. We did an evening cruise which included a free drink. Get on at Kowloon to guarantee the upstairs deck if it is busy. The cruise goes over to Hong Kong and then around Victoria Harbour, you get to see the buildings light... More

Having spent a couple of years living in Hong Kong I can highly recommend The Aqua Luna as a fantastic way to experience the harbour, especially at night. It's a very chilled way to see the Hong Kong and Kowloon skylines from the water. Make sure you take your camera!

We walked to the TST Aqua Luna pick up point (Tsim Sha Tsui Pier 2) from our hotel for the evening harbour cruise. We didn't have tickets, but an efficient chap with a clipboard gave us stickers, got us to stand in line and assured us that we would be able to buy tickets onboard (and even pay by card).... More

A frequent visitor to HK and the first, and not last time on Aqua Luna, a great way to see the harbor and the sites at leisure whilst enjoying a beverage!

We tried to book a night with this company and when we went to process the credit card it was rejected. However, despite the company telling us they "couldn't process the transaction" later on they did it anyway. By this time it was too late for us to take the cruise. Despite contacting them and discussing the issue, they simply... More

Called up the company directly as I was unable to book tickets online to be told they only sell tickets 2 weeks in advance and that the dates we were looking to book the boat will be out for its annual maintenance. I was therefore surprised to see it was operating as normal but by this time we had booked... More

Really enjoyed this trip around the harbor with the light show. We had a glass of red wine each and it was a lovely balmy evening. The journey was a little choppy at times but nothing too bad as I didn't spill any wine. The smell of the diesel fumes when reversing was a little overpowering as we were seated... More
