We have done a few tours in various countries so knew it would be worth while but we absolutely loved they Kowloon in 8 markets tour with Danny! We went on a 3 hour walking tour around Kowloon and felt like we saw the real Hong Kong not just a tourists version. We loved the flower market, bird market and... More

Did the 'HK Food Safari, HK After Dark & Story of HK' with my mum during our stay in HK! Danny our guide was amazing on all our Urban Adventures. Covered SO much! Definitely do as many Urban Adventures during your stay in HK! Beats walking around aimlessly not knowing what anything is! Thanks for a good time Danny, we... More

Danny was a terrific guide, informative, knowledgeable, excellent English and a good sense of humour. There was plenty of time to stop and ask questions and Danny gave us an insight into the life locals leas with some interesting facts and figures about Kowloon and HK island.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Ate in restaurants and street stalls we probably wouldn't have thought to try by ourselves. Along the whole way Danny gave insights into Zhong Kong's history, culture and day to day workings. Can't recommend it enough. Good food, good people.

Our guide Danny was excellent at balancing when to provide knowledge and information and when to let us experience for ourselves. Markets are a great source of local culture, tourism and variety. Danny explained the history of different areas, when and why the markets came to exist, but also information about the local areas and people. Great tour, great guide

Highly recommend doing an Urban Adventure tour at the start of your trip as it gives you the knowledge to go forth on your own to enjoy the local cuisine. Danny Fung was very knowledgeable and made sure the tour was informative and enjoyable. I enjoyed the all the food we had particularly the pineapple cakes with red bean.

Danny Fung made the very special markets of downtown Hong Kong come alive for us. Great tour, lots of good commentary and an historical perspective I wouldn't get on my own. Thumbs up and thanks, Danny. Xie,xie!

Daniel was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to our group. I'm traveling with my one year old and Daniel was understanding of our needs but continued to give the best walking tour and not miss anything. His English was easy for me to understand and his knowledge of history and Hong Kong was interesting and impressive!

We took two tours with Urban Adventures, "Around Kowloon in 8 Markets" and "Hong Kong After Dark". Danny was our guide for both, and was an excellent guide. He was personable, well versed in the city, and prepared to answer any questions we had. We preferred the market tours personally, but both were great. We generally take 1-2 tours per... More

This was my wife's and my first real trip to Hong Kong. I had been here years ago for a quick business trip, but hadn't had time to see anything. We were staying for several days and wanted to get a feel for the history of the place. This tour took place entirely on Hong Kong island, and Danny was... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
