Sham Shui Po is street market hub surrounding the area around the MTR Station including Ap Liu Street (Electronic Street), a hectic pedestrian only street market lined with shops and stalls selling all manner of electronics, tools, equipment, lightings, LED bulbs and many more general items you may associate with flea markets. Basically, if you need old parts, this is where you are likely to find it in the city.
The Ap Liu Street market is literally just outside the Sham Shui Po MTR Station exits A2 and C2, you will be in the thick of it as soon as you exit. Have a browse and look-see and continue on with whatever other shopping or sightseeing endeavours you have in the area.

Apliu street is a particularly good place to think about selling off some old electronics, especially if you can bargain in Cantonese and prove that what you're selling is worth something. It's also a good place to wander up and down if you're looking for anything ranging from electrical cords, second hand phones to key rings and chains. Generally the products sold here are not of bad quality but you still do need to choose wisely as refunds aren't a thing in these markets.
The one big downfall to wandering this street for me was the big sense of unease I felt. Through the street my family stopped a few times to talk to shop owners about their electronic deals and every.time! I turned around to take a look at my surroundings there was always someone standing unreasonably close to me and just looking over my shoulder or at me, for no reason I could come up with. Were they interested in what my family were talking about with the shop owner? Perhaps. But then why weren't they looking at the goods?! Previous experience in other Hong Kong markets—like Ladies' Market—and having onlookers interested in what my family and I may be doing has never felt so intrusive and uncomfortable, so unless I had a really good reason to come to this market again, I think I'd rather look at buying my small electronic accessories/goods at the 'Golden Shopping Centre' (on the corner of Fuk Wa Street and Yen Chow Street).

The exact location of this flea market is the section of Apliu Street between Nam Cheong Street and Tonkin Street in Shum Shui Po. Nearest MTR Station is the Shum Shui Po Station. See photo uploaded. Here one can find quite a lot of interesting and fun items, mostly inexpensive, many are electronic, electrical, digital audio, leather good, old vinyl and CD records, as well as phone accessories. Apart from stalls on the street, there are several DIY hardware and tools shops on the ground floor of buildings by the street. Beware of pick pockets.

Easy to get to from Hong Kong Island- just take the ferry over and walk a few blocks.
If you have ever been to any kind of street stall/vendor pretty much anywhere in the world this is just the same. There's just nothing unique. Every booth has very similar items. 5 tshirts for 10? Check. Cheap purses? Check. Selfie sticks- Oh heck yea! But it's still fun to wander through. Crowded and perfect to find trinkets to take home to the people you have to get "something" but don't want to send much $$ on. Although you could probably find similar goods at the Dollar Tree back home.
What I did like is no one hassles you. There is no constant "hey lady hey lady" you can just take your time and look.

Haggling is a must! Also, going later in the evening is best to get the deals. Lots of sellers of copy watches and bags. I took a look at the copy watches, and they certainly differ in price and quality.
Vendors will tell you their price, and I was first fooled but the few dollars they knocked off the price. I later realized that as the night went on, prices fell. So, go at night and offer no more than half their list price, or get two for the price of one. Don't be afraid to walk away, as they will call you back and offer a better price. But stick to your originally price of 30% or less of what they want to sell it for. They will not sell to you if they don't make money, and later at night, they would rather make a dollar than to keep it. Bargain hard and win.

Apliu Street is a hotchpotch of a market where you can find a mix of small businesses dealing new and second hand electronics, computer parts and hardware, mobile parts and accessories, gadgets and related items. Throw in dealers of fabrics, materials, camera equipment, binoculars, coins, random antiques and other junk and you've a real jumble of a flea market.
This area is popular with local bargain hunters, who are savvy on local prices and enjoy rummaging through shops, arcades and numerous street stalls in search of good deals. As for tourists, the scene here might or might not be of much interest. Some enjoy the randomness of the Apliu Street flea market, while others find it tacky and a waste of time.
Note: If you want to visit take Exit C2 at the Sham Shui Po exit and enjoy.

Apliu Street is just outside MTR exit A2 and C2. Its very crowded at nearly all times which is expected of a flea market. The differenct stores offer a variety of products to suit nearly all of the technological needs of a person-from phones to torches. Some shops also sell products at ridiculously low prices which force us to wonder whether these products are genuine or fake. Unfortunately, I have no answer to this :D as i didn't buy anything when I went. There are some quite a lot of shops which do sell fake copies of real items like Rolex and various brands but don't last more than a week, like most fake products. Recommendation of Apliu Street is doubtful as there is not much to do there unless you are into tech or looking for the limitless amount of fake products available. Be in mind that if you visit, you will need to bear the relentless amount of cigarette smoke and the heat.

If you are interested in buying any electronics here you should do some research so you know your prices and products. Some of the water sound bluetooth speakers were about $13-$17 AUD but we have seen them advertised in Aus for $49. Lazer lights shows are cheep. You can get some street food here too. Enjoy....

Bags, shoes, video equipment, dash-cams, climbing equipment, electronics and many more. My go-to destination each time on my annual trip to the colony, which incidentally was home for 45 years. The venue is packed with tourists so you're not alone. Most vendors speak a smattering of English.
Bear in mind, goods sold are not returnable, so shop wisely. No need to get a tour guide. Jump on the MTR and look for Sham Shui Po stop. At the station look for sign-boards for Ap Liu St.

This is a popular destination to shop for cheap AV products, lighting, home electronic gears, photographic equipments where one can find many cheap varieties. Just opposite to the main road, there is a computer zone which is also a popular spot for locals. This is an old district without much tourist attractions though.
