These green and white ferries are an absolute must-have experience. Riding on the ferry, you are immersed in the sights and sounds of busy Victoria harbor. And if you are a senior, the ride is free.

Very interesting to see Hong Kong from the boat. Ticket office is easy to find and they allow to pay by Octopus card. There are many piers for u to choose. U should try it once in Hong Kong.

Took a ferry at night as a part of tour we booked. We enjoyed the views as sun dipped and got dark then all the lights shined on water making it glow. I always love water, sea, lake, river and all, displaying reflections of whatever...More

Costs less than $3 per adult. Easy ride between Central's Victoria Harbour and Tsim Sha Tsui. Great way to take photos of the city line especially at night. The ride lasts about 10 mins.

On my last visit to Hong Kong, forty years ago the Star Ferry was utilized by locals to transport ducks, goats, chickens etc. These are gone. The Ferry easy, inexpensive and a great way to see the harbor and traverse from Hong Kong to Kowloon.

Tsim Sha Tsui
Tsim Sha Tsui is one of the major tourist and shopping
areas of Hong Kong. With a high concentration of
hotels, retail shops and commercial offices – it’s a
busy and bustling neighbourhood that never sleeps. On
the surface, Tsim Sha Tsui seems to only feature an
abundant number of high-end retail stores selling
designer brands and jewelry, owing to its popularity
with high-budget shopping tours. However, it also

The ferries are every 8 minutes to Central and 12 minutes to Wan Chai. There will be little if no waiting line. If you miss the ferry, the maximum you will be waiting is 8-12 mins.
