I stayed at the Guest accommodation of University of HongKong at Star Building in Pok Fu Lam. I stayed here for a few months on an assignment. Great place. The campus is great. After catching the Peak Tram and enjoying the view of Hong Kong, we decided to walk down through Pok Fu Lam Country Park on our way to Aberdeen. While visiting the Peak my wife and I decided to take a walk in the Pok Fu Lam Country Park just across the road from entrance to the Peak. It is a wooded area with lots of wild life and a few waterfalls as well as a reservoir/lake. It is a downhill/uphill walk depending on your approach but doing it... More

Take bus #15 up the Peak (or if you prefer, the Peak Tram), walk down hill the Pok Fu Lam Trail, takes less than 1/2 hour and you will arrive Pok Fu Lam Reservoir and Pok Fu Lam Village.

amazing park zoao;ogical as it apeeres walked in it at night me and my wife went to victorias peak at midnight and from there we sstroled through the park awsome expiriance!!

I recently did this walk while on a visit to Hong Kong. The country park is clearly signposted from the Peak. It is a mostly downhill walk , very clearly signposted and with lots of maps along the way, and links up with a number of other trails including the major Hing Kong trail. we went to see the fire dragon dance ceremony during the mid-autumn festival in Pok Fu Lam village instead of going to the touristy Tai Hang, and it proves to be a good decision. We got very closed to the fire dragon from the beginning to the end and were amazed how this giant dragon could go through the twists... More
